One of the primary goals of TYP is to promote and develop the role of our fellow young professionals in community involvement through supportive relationships with community organizations. To accomplish this goal, TYP established a Community Outreach Partnership with Family Supportive Housing (FSH). FSH’s goal is to build and facilitate a residence for homeless families on their way to self-sufficiency. TYP serves the FSH families, tying into the core of the Community Outreach Program.
As part of our montly events program, TYP participates in ongoing service projects including those close to individual TYPs. We encourage our members to organize service projects through TYP that may fit outside the FSH partnership. More hands means more help – more help means a greater impact.
